I have been a Social Studies teacher at Sartartia Middle School since 2023. I currently teach 6th grade World Cultures and Geography in addition to serving as the head tennis coach and assistant football coach. I have been a classroom teacher since 2016 and have 7 years experience teaching high school Economics, AP Macroeconomics, and World History. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2016 with a bachelor of arts in education in History-Social Science Magna Cum Laude.

I am originally from Colorado, later moving to Nebraska where I graduated high school. I enjoy being active and outdoors, spending time running, cycling, and hiking. I have field training in archaeology, and my other academic interests include evolutionary anthropology, human behavioral ecology, history of imperialism, Native American studies, and the economics of public school funding. I very much look forward to sharing my passion for the social sciences with my students.
