I am originally  from Charlotte, North Carolina.  My mother and father were both educators, so education is foundational for me.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics and a Master of Science in Applied Physics from North Carolina A&T State University.  I received my Doctorate in Education from University of Houston-Clear Lake.  I believe in providing students with the tools to think critically and develop problem-solving skills to be able to succeed.  I enjoy teaching engineering because the subject teaches students critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
