Hi, I'm Michelle Bogaard. I am a born and raised Texan, originally from the DFW area. I now live in West Houston with my husband, Hans, whom I met while attending the college of education at Texas State University in San Marcos. In 2021, I graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education and received my teaching certifications. 

I now teach kindergarten at Lakeview, and I am so happy to be here. As a kindergarten teacher, I am able to help students develop a love for learning from an early age, which I believe is hugely important to their success in school and in the real world. I do my best to mold my students into responsible, thoughtful, and compassionate little humans, and to equip them with the tools they need to face the challenges life throws at them. 

In my free time, I like to paint, exercise, and try new coffee shops in Houston.
