My name is Shimon McLean, and I am a proud Fort Bend County Community member. I am also excited to be a part of the RTMS family. Although I was born in Los Angeles, I have only known Houston and Missouri City as my home since I was a toddler. I am a genuine product of the FBC school district. From Briargate Elementary to Dulles High School, my school days were filled with vivid memories of exciting times, and I want to make sure that my students have those same wonderful experiences. 

My ultimate goal for my students is that they become lifelong learners. I want them to take learning beyond the classroom and apply it to their everyday lives. It's important for students to grow and challenge themselves on a daily basis. I truly believe that growth is a big part of education for all. 

I'm looking forward to an amazing school year with lots of exciting changes! Most importantly, I'm looking forward to teaching and challenging my students to new levels of education this school year.
