Ms. Baker
My name is Jennifer Baker and I grew up in Sugar Land. I am a Fort Bend ISD graduate. I graduated from Dulles High School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Texas State University. This is my 8th teaching. Before coming to Ridge Point High School, I taught Deaf children. I am beyond excited to make the transition to teaching American Sign Language here at Ridge Point. It is my goal to inspire students to fall in love with the language just as my high school ASL teacher did for me.
I will be teaching ASL I, ASL II, and ASL III this year. I believe that acquiring a new language can be an exciting adventure. The best way to acquire a language is to use it. It takes hard work and practice. Our classroom is a safe place to practice ASL and make mistakes. I will be here to help you and support you along the way.
I look forward to an incredible year!
