My name is Perla Caldera, and I am one of Hightower's ESOL English teachers.  I have been an educator for over 10 years in Texas.  I am a wife, mother, and avid teacher who enjoys painting, reading, and music.  I am a member of the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC), and the Emergent Bilingual Hightower Compliance Team.

      I am truly excited to have our students in my classroom.  It is a joy to begin the journey of high school with each student.  Together we can work to ensure that each and every student is academically successful, and on the path to becoming a Hightower Hurricane graduate.
