Hello and welcome to sixth grade! 

I am the sixth grade Deaf Education teacher on First Colony's campus. I have been teaching since 2019. Originally, I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I moved down to Waco, Texas to attend Baylor University for a degree in Deaf Education. Afterward, I went straight into graduate studies and received a Master's degree from the University of Texas in Austin in Language and Literacy. I enjoy reading, shopping, cooking, and spending time outside in nature!

I am so excited to start off this year and experience each day in the classroom with my students, supporting learning, growing the love of reading and writing, and having enriching discussions about the world around them!
