My name is Shaq Dixon! I was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina. I moved to Houston to attend Graduate school in 2017. I graduated from East Carolina University and the University of Houston. I’m currently enrolled in a M.Ed program to receive a Principal Certification. I began my career at Sugar Mill Elementary in 2018 as an ABC paraprofessional. Then I taught within KIPP Houston district for 3 years and now I’m back at SME! You can catch me playing basketball, ping pong, grilling out, or collecting pokemon cards in my leisure. I’m so excited about this school year! I know it will be filled with joy, growth, and positivity!
