Hello, I am Mr. Salcedo.

I am honored to be teaching at Mission West Elementary for this upcoming school year. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston, and a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University in Educational Administration. This year is going to be my tenth year as an elementary school teacher. 

This year I will be teaching fifth grade. I have a passion for helping my students reach their individual and collective educational goals. I look forward to assisting my students, parents, and staff during this school year! 

In my free time I love trying new restaurants with my wife, and going to the park with my two boys and girl. I also enjoy reading aloud to my children and exposing them to new nursery rhymes and sing along videos.
