I am the loving mother of three wonderful children, one fur baby and a dedicated, Texas certified educator for 19 years.  All of my teaching career has been in elementary school.  Most of those years have been in First grade.  I also taught in the Dual Language program for three years.  I am currently working in my second year of Second grade.  My ESL certification made me a good candidate for teaching abroad in the United Arab Emirates.  I spent 4 years in Abu Dhabi teaching English, Science and Math. My passion for teaching comes from all those days of playing school with my neighbors.  It certainly set the stage for the love I have for this profession.  I do believe that all kids can learn. They just learn in different ways.
