Ms. Mary Helen Rigney

I am very happy to be here at Quail Valley Middle School. I am a Spansh teacher and this year I wil be teaching Spanish 1 as well as a Spanish class for native Speakers. I truly love teaching.  I have been a teacher for 20 years in one capacity or another. I have taught English, Spanish, Public Speaking and Debate. I received my BA degree from UT Tyler, my MEd. from Stephen F. Austin State University, and my Law Degree or J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. I am originally from a small town in South Texas named Pharr, Texas. I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I am the proud mom of 4 sons and the proud grandma of 3 granddaughters.
