I am beyond excited to be joining the Dalmatian family this year. This will be my 3rd year of teaching and I am very excited to continue my journey here at Anne Sullivan Elementary School. About Me! I was born and raised in Houston, I moved from Clear Lake to the beautiful city of Sugar Land 8 years ago. I graduated from University of Houston, Go Coogs! I have a B.S. in Teaching and Learning and ended my bachelors with an honor. When I am not teaching, you will find me spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I love to craft and bake on my time off and take any opportunity to go travel the world with my family.

Teaching is in my heart, and I can’t wait to share the joy and passion with your child every day! Learning is a fantastic adventure that should be fun, enjoyable, and challenging. As a lifelong learner, I have had some wonderful teachers who have made a difference in the way I teach today. I believe teachers play a huge part in children’s growing lives. Children learn in their own unique ways and in their own style; thus, by using different strategies, while teaching I can help meet the needs of all my students.  I want my students to have an enjoyable learning experience in a diverse classroom and give them the opportunity to be more creative.  For example, some strategies I include involving students in more group work, tactile hands-on learning, and student-directed lessons.  Furthermore, I encourage my students to adapt to our diverse society by educating them about different cultures within our community and around the world. I think communication is key and as your child’s teacher, I hope you never hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, suggestions, or even simply for an update on your child’s progress. I am always happy and willing to speak and work with my parents, so I welcome your interest in my classroom with open arms. You are in for a treat because 3rd grade is the best year ever! I am proud to be a Dalmatian and am looking forward to watching your Dalmatian grow and learn to their fullest potential!
