Howdy Longhorns!

      My name is Megan Lawley and I am so excited to be a part the Longhorn family this year! This will be my second year at Neill Elementary, but my 16th year teaching overall. I have taught everything from Pre-K to Second Grade, but Kindergarten has my heart! 

      I am a graduate from the University of Houston with a degree in Sports Administration and pursued my dream of working for the Houston Astros for 3 years before I realized how much I missed working with kids! I got my alternative certification in 2007 and never looked back! I LOVE TEACHING!!

      I am married to my husband and best friend, Brian, and we have a beautiful two year old baby girl named Camden James. She is a pure pandemic baby being born in March 2020, the day everything shut down! She is the best little girl and the sunshine in our lives! We also have 3 adorable fur babies, Yuli, Bella and Bear that make our family complete. In my free time I love to run and compete in half marathons, do yoga, spend time with my family,  boutique shop and watch my two FAVORITE teams, the Houston Astros and Texas A&M Aggies!

      I am so excited excited to be part of the Longhorn Herd and can not wait to make some amazing Kindergarten memories this year!
