English language and English literature  have been my favorites since I was a girl in high school, and since becoming a teacher, I have been refining my teaching style to help my students feel the same way I do.

I currently have a total of 22 years of teaching in Texas and have been fortunate enough to teach in Lamar Consolidated, Katy, and Fort Bend. During my 22 years of teaching, I have taught eighth grade, yearbook, eighth grade Pre-AP, English I, English I Pre-AP, English II, Practical Writing, English IV, and AP Literature and Composition.

I am looking forward to a memorable and positive learning year.
