Welcome to Ms. Penrod's art studio at Malala Yousafzai Elementary!

Crayons and paints were my toys from a very young age that grew into a genuine interest and love for art. Later in life, I found my calling as an educator. This will be my third year teaching art at MYE, and I am very excited to teach your child this year! I have always found art to be a truly amazing and authentic way to express creativity. My goal is to instill confidence in all of my students so that they are able to discover their inner artist in a welcoming and safe environment. I'm a strong believer that every child possesses an innate ability to be creative. As a product of Fort Bend ISD, I am grateful and excited to be back in a familiar and very supportive community. I'm looking forward to a wonderful and exciting 2023-2024 school year!
