Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Araceli Casasola

Welcome parents and students! I hope that over the course of this semester, you feel at home in our classroom and enjoy learning about World History/Geography to its fullest.

We will have many opportunities to get to know each other in the coming months, but in the meantime, here are a few things about myself: I graduated from the University of Houston in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in History. I have a passion for social studies and working with students.

I am a graduate of Dulles High myself and have lived in Houston for most of my life. I have had the pleasure of working and learning alongside incredible people of all walks of life at one of FBISD’s highest achieving schools.

The diversity of Houston, Dulles, and in my life experiences in Guatemala City means that I believe fundamentally in the richness of sharing across languages, cultures, and borders. You will find that my classroom aims to be inclusive and challenges myself and my students to think critically and globally.

Familiarize yourself with the syllabus below, and please feel free to reach me at my email or classroom phone with any questions or concerns.

Best wishes,

Ms. Araceli J. Casasola
