Hello! Welcome to Texas History!

My name is Abigail Barkley (née Shand), one of the 7th grade Texas History teachers here at Missouri City Middle School! This is my second year at Missouri City and I'm excited about teaching history with a student-led, critical thinking approach! I graduated from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) with a Bachelor's of History with a minor in Education. I can't wait to see your child(ren) learn and grow to have an appreciation of history!
