Reese Center Applications for the 2021-2022 school year
Applications for programs at the James Reese Career and Technical Center are NOW OPEN. Applications will close on March 21st at 4pm. See below for general information and questions.

General Application Information
Who can apply?
Current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students (specific courses have specific grade requirements)
- NEW this year: Students currently at Reese Center who wish to take a second/third-year course at Reese MUST apply to remain in the program
Where can I find a link to the application?

How do I access the application?
Students log in using their FBISD username and password
- NEW this year: Students select only 1 program/pathway of
- Important to note: Once a student submits the application, changes cannot be made
What happens once the application closes?
The validation/verification process begins. Student applications are checked for appropriate pre-requisite courses and “scored.”
How will I find out if I got in?
Students will receive an acceptance, waitlist or denial email in his/her FBISD email inbox. The same email will go to the main parent email provided in Skyward.
What are acceptances based upon?
Acceptances are based upon students’ academic progress, attendance, and discipline records in Skyward, program interest (as measured by Likert scale questions), and successful completion of pre-requisite courses if required.
