Welcome to 2nd grade at MYE! My name is Ahlem Merchant and I received my teaching degree from University of Houston. This will be my 3rd year teaching at Malala Yousafzai Elementary! I have taught 5th grade and am now teaching 2nd grade for the very first time! I am so excited to see all my students learn and grow. I have such an amazing team and am so lucky to have a strong team that have a passion for teaching!
