Greetings!

This is my fourth year teaching at Schiff Elementary, and my eighth year in Special Education.  I began teaching Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE - FLASH) in January 2022 at Schiff.  I love working with our special three to five year-old children, and seek to teach our students through joyful, individualized pre-school activities, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.  Our paraprofessionals and classroom nurse are indispensable, as well as multiple other specialists providing individualized services to our children.

I graduated from Purdue University in Management/Finance, and spent eighteen years working in finance.  As one of eight children growing up in Indianapolis, I understood being part of a large family.  My husband and I have six grown children, as well as a daughter-in law and son-in law.  Our family enjoys frequent get-togethers with lots of food and dogs!
