Personal Mission: As a teaching professional, I will foster each student to share their personal experiences in a safe environment and understand every students' learning journey from a diverse background. 

It is an exciting time of the year to kick off our learning journey together at Malala!  I look forward to getting to know each one of you and your families.    We are in it together to collaborate as parents and educators to help our young Leopards learn!  Our purpose is to be here for the children and to serve their learning needs.  So let's journey together and remember, "By doing what you love, you inspire and awaken the hearts of others!"

Background

I have a Masters in Education and a Masters in Business Administration.  My passion is in teaching and developing young minds.  I have 13 years of teaching experience from ages 4 to adulthood.  I have taught both in the classroom setting and as an online instructor.  I also specialize in teaching English as a second language to non-native English speakers.  

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, crafting, gardening and traveling.  My family includes my husband, three children, and a rescue dog named Zoey and our pug Peanut.
