Dr. Dalia Khalil

As a new immigrant to the US in 2016, I have chosen Houston, TX to be my second home. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt. I am a Teach for America 2017 corps member and served the Alief neighborhood through working as a Lead PreK Teacher at BakerRipley for three years. I have joined FortBend ISD for academic year 2020/2021, and teaching Kindergarten.

I believe early childhood education is the foundation for both exciting educational experiences and balanced character building. My international background and exposure bring more diversity into my young learners’ experiences about the world, tolerance, and citizenship.

I am a mother of two adult gentlemen. I have a 9 years-old Golden Retriever. I love walking Brandy, listening to music, reading, traveling, and gardening. My favorite ice-cream flavor is Pistachio:)
