My name is Ms. Hicks and I will be your teacher this year! I began teaching at SLMS in 2020 and love being a Titan. I current teach grade 6th ,7th and 8th grade. I have been in education since 2015 with HISD, first at an elementary school as a paraprofessional for 3 1/2 years and at a high school as an employment representative for 1 1/2. I have a son (2) and enjoy spending time with both him and the rest of my family. Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to music, and watching movies. I can't wait to get to know my new students this year and to reconnect with my old ones. Let's make this year great Titan's!
