Hello!

I’m Sarah Ryan- this will be my 9^th year teaching and my 7^th year at Dulles High School. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have had a passion for teaching and sign language since I was young. I learned sign language in elementary school, where I met my deaf friend. I would watch his interpreter in all of our classes-it was from then I KNEW I had to do something that involved deaf individuals. My high school ASL teacher introduced me to SFASU and their Deaf Education program!

I love being able to make a positive impact on students; and watch them grow into successful, young individuals. 

When I’m not working I love spending time with my friends, family, and two dogs, advocating for rescue animals, and traveling to new places!
