Hello, my name is Kim Sampson and I have been a special education teacher for eight years at Austin Independent School District. I earned a double major from Texas A&M in both Psychology and Forensic Entomology with a minor in Biomedical Science. I went to University of Chicago to complete a masters in Disability and Human Development. I have an English Language Learners certification for early childhood to the 12th grade and a Special Education certification for early childhood through the 12th grade. Working with young children with learning differences has a special place in my heart. I have both dyslexia and dysgraphia; therefore, I am very compassionate and understanding of what children are going through during these formative years. It is truly my passion and love to work with children with special needs and help them reach their full potential. I am truly looking forward to working with your children this year.
