Hi there.  My name is Charlene Hefferin. I am originally from Massachusetts.  I moved quite a bit as a child because my father was in the U.S. Navy.  In 2004, I moved to Houston from Missouri where I completed my undergraduate work at Maryville University of St. Louis.  I went on to complete the Master's of Education in Administrative Leadership program at Lamar University. I have been in education for sixteen years and absolutely love the educational field.

I feel fortunate to be teaching in an amazing school that has a nurturing, caring environment where children are supported and experience new challenges that help build their confidence and academic abilities.  I look forward to contributing to the positive impact Meadows teachers make in the lives of their students as a fifth grade math and science teacher.  When I am not at Meadows Elementary, you can find me spending time with my family and our two dachshunds.
