Greetings! Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year! My name is Mariah Lee and although I am a first year teacher, I have been at Fort Bend ISD for 5 years. As a college student I took an interest in children and adolescents mental health awareness therefore, I decided to pursue a degree in psychology and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After graduating from college I became a secretary at Austin High School (AHS) for 4 years, however I decided to become a Special Education Teacher in order to ensure that students with a variety of learning disabilites have the same opportunity to become successful in their educational environment. I am also a mother of one smart and beautiful little girl. I am super excited about teaching and interacting with your students this year, I plan on supporting them every step of the way to ensure that they are successful.
