My name is Jennifer Menefee and I have been teaching children for 12 years. I graduated from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I recieved my degree in Advertising. I then attended St. Thomas University in Houston, where I earned my degree in Teaching. I started out teaching all Elementary age students in the Science Lab in HISD for 5 years. I then had my first son and took a few years off to stay home with him. I joined FBISD in 2014 where I taught First Grade at Scanlan Oaks Elementary. I love teaching students and watching them grow in their learning as well as socially and emotionally throughout the school-year. It is such a rewarding job and one that I love. 

I have a wonderful husband and three amazing kids that all attend schools in FBISD. I enjoy spending time watching my children play football, baseball, basketball and volleyball. I love to run and play tennis. I also enjoy spending time with close friends and my family as well. As a family, we like to travel throughout the year. We love to ski in the winter and go the beach in the spring and summer.
