Hi! I am Ms. Gutierrez and I am a Kindergarten Teacher at Juan Seguin Elementary. This is my first year of teaching, but I have worked in education for over two years. I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I graduated with honors from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. I am a product of Fort Bend and I am beyond excited to kick off my teaching career here in Fort Bend ISD.  My teaching philosophy is that students learn best when they are in a positive and safe learning environment, where they feel welcomed and comfortable with each other. Some of my favorite things to do when I am not teaching include spending time with my children, discovering new parks, and watching movies.This school year will be filled with many educational opportunities. I am looking forward to exploring, learning, and collaborating with all of you this year!
