I grew up in a rural town in North Texas but moved to Houston during high school and consider Houston my home now. While I do come from a family of educators and have always enjoyed teaching, I did not originally want to go into education. However, as I explored other options and worked in various industries, I found that teaching was my calling and I have enjoyed it since making the change. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Houston Baptist University and Dulles is the first place where I began my teaching career.
