Ms. Phuong Anh Lee

Welcome to AP United States History!

My name is Anh Lee and I'm teaching Advanced Placement United States History (APUSH) within the P-TECH program at L.V. Hightower High School for the 2020-2021 school year. I'm a native Houstonian and graduate of Dulles High School.

I've spent my entire 15-year career within the Learning and Development space working with both students and adult learners.  The first 7 years while in the classroom I explored World Geography and AP Human Geography with my students. In the past 8 years, I've led strategic initiatives within corporate Human Resources. My roles focused on developing organizational capabilities for companies within the Medical Devices industry as well as the Oil and Energy sector.

I'm a life long learner with a genuine curiosity and appreciation for perspectives and capabilities unique to EVERY individual while believing in a much stronger shared human experience connecting us all. I strive to create an environment that facilitates people to feel seen, heard, and understood so they can feel inspired to be of service and presence for others.

Regardless if it's the classroom or the boardroom, people are my passion!

I'm excited to be back in the classroom and working alongside our future leaders and nurturing their growth and passion for learning.
