Hi! My name is Sara Allberry and I am beyond excited about teaching 1st grade at Madden Elementary for the third year! I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. At UNL, I studied Early Childhood/Elementary Education and graduated in spring 2017. I moved to Houston to complete my student teaching in a 1st grade classroom. After I graduated, I ended up teaching 2nd grade for 3 wonderful years. This will be my third year teaching first grade! Working with children and helping them learn and grow has always been one of my passions. Some of my interests outside of school include exercising, traveling, reading, and doing anything outdoors.
