My name is Gunnery Sergeant Taurus O. Pearson, the Marine Instructor and this is my first year at Travis High School.  I am originally from Lufkin Tx and I'm extremely happy to be back home in Texas after 20 years in the Marine Corps.  It is truly an honor and privilege to be able to lead, mentor, and develope the next generation of young leaders. My passion as a teacher is teaching lifeskills, drill, and leadership. I look forward to working with the Travis High School family, community, staff members and parents.  With your assistance we will make the Travis High School MCJROTC Program flourish.
