Welcome!!!

I am excited to be a part of the Goodman Owl family. I will be teaching 5th grade ELA/Social Studies for the 22-23 school year. This is my 3rd year teaching at Goodman Elementary. Before teaching at Goodman, I was a teacher with Beaumont ISD. I have 20 years of experience in education. I attended Prairie View A &M University and Lamar University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences. I also attended the University of St. Thomas-Houston, where I obtained my Masters in Educational Leadership. I have  EC-6 Generalist, EC-6 ESL, and ELAR 4-8 certifications. 

I enjoy working with children and helping them reach their full potential academically. Every child can and will learn, and I believe all children should be treated with love, respect, and kindness.
