I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I attended Fort Bend ISD Schools as a child. After graduation, I attended Houston Baptist University and majored in Bilingual Education. After this, I taught at Blue Ridge Elementary for six years. I also taught Spanish at Lake Olympia Middle School for one year. I then became a Spanish instructor for Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, which is an online school that serves children from all over the world.
I am married and have two young daughters, who also attend FBISD schools. I have two poodles that I adore. I enjoy listening to music, writing fiction, and traveling.
