Hello, my name is Mrs. Heather C. Biber and I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Lexington Creek Elementary.  In the past eight years, I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Special Education. Four of these years have been in Pre-Kindergarten.

I am a graduate of the University of Houston - Clear Lake and have a degree in Behavioral and Developmental Psychology. I obtained my teaching certifications in Special Education, Physical Education and Early Childhood through Sixth Grade Education through the Texas Teachers Program. 

I consider myself an organized, hard-working, and dedicated teacher who puts great effort into preparing my lessons while using several teaching strategies to keep students focused and interested. I am a caring and patient teacher who works well with students of various backgrounds and learning capabilities. My goal is to build independence in my students. I want to develop the love of learning through hands on activities and grow lifelong learners.
