My name is Dee McBride and I have been an educator for over 15 years. My time outside of school is spent with my husband, two children and five wonderful grandchildren. I am beyond excited being a part of the Warriors Family where I will serve as the Principles of Human Services teacher. Education is my passion and sharing my experience with the students is my number one goal and commitment.
Principles of Human Service (PHS) is a fantastic high school credit course that provides our eighth grade students with the opportunity to explore personal development, kitchen safety and sanitation, families/child development, and multiple areas of design. This course also provides students with many lab opportunities and hands-on activities.
Eighth Grade students that are enrolled in Principles of Human Services will obtain a High School Credit. Principles of Human Services and Investigating Careers are creative hands-on courses that is exciting to middle school students. It provides students with a foundation for success in high school, future studies and careers.
Each day, I look forward to providing creative learning experiences that inspire students to imagine futures with great successes. The students are excited to receive a high school credit upon completion of Principles of Human Services. The high school GPA will be impacted through the grade in PHS. This new class is filled with creative, interactive, and educational skills within the Human Services pathway. PHS is a principles class that leads to additional high school endorsements.
The Human Services classes are examples of Fort Bend ISD's motto to "Inspire, Equip, and Imagine!" I am looking forward to a fantastic year of doing things The Warrior Way and assisting our students in owning their learning!
