I was born in Detroit, MI and raised in Nashville, TN. I graduated from Cumberland University (TN) where I obtained my bachelors degree in Recreation Administration. Post graduation I played professional basketball for five years in South America, Asia, and the Middle East. After retiring from professional basketball, I decided to pursue a career in teaching and coaching. I began as a 6th grade math tutor and eventually became certified in Middle/High School English. After teaching middle school English for 3 1/2 years, I continued my life as an educator at Willowridge High School where I also coached boys basketball, and then moved to Ridge Point High School in 2021 to teach English and serve as the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach, as well as the JV Head Coach
