I am a 27 year retired law enforcement veteran with 10.5 year serving at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice working in Deathrow (Ellis 1 Unit), Administration Segregation Special Populations- Gang Members (Darrington Unit)and Crisis Management and Acute Care with Mentally Ill Offenders (Jester 4 Unit). In addition I served over 17 years at the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office with experiences in the Detention Division, Patrol, Criminal Investigator and retired as Crime Scene Investigator. During my tenure I have served our country in the United State Navy for 22 years, serving in 4 combbat zones. I recently retired from the Navy Reserve and wanted to continue to serve the community. I began as a substitute teacher for Lamar Consolidated ISD Special Sites working as an Instructional Aide in the Lamar Consolidated ISD Alternative Learning Center/Centralized Intensive Behavior Center, Fort Bend Alternative Center, Juvenile Detention Center and Adult Transition. I recently began teaching Criminal Justice at Fort Bend ISD High Schools; William B. Travis and Stephen F. Austin.
