My name is Nicole Norwood.  I am a 5^th grade Math and Science teacher here at Ridgegate Elementary School. I have been educating elementary school students for over 20 years. For the majority of this time I have been working with 5th grade budding mathematicians.  I have a masters in educational leadership and I am also gifted endorsed. I have an uncompromising view that ALL students can learn, given a positive learning atmosphere that welcomes exploration and enhances student confidence. It is my belief that an educator’s mission is to make school enjoyable and exciting. In my spare time, I love to travel, shop, hang out at the beach, and spend time with family and friends.
