I started my teaching career in Nigeria and I am third generation educator in my family. My grandfather was a teacher, my father was a teacher and Superintendent of Education.
I have been fortunate to have traveled widely in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and North America. One of my most recent teaching experiences was in the Province of Alberta Canada where I taught for 13 yrs before relocating to Houston in 2016. Eight of those years was spent with the Calgary Board of Education which empowered me with unique professional development. We had great partnership with one of the world's finest in education-Finland! I was also fortunate to participate on an Asia Educational Study Tour.
In 2018-2019 school year, I was one of the recipients of the Bright Spot Teacher Excellence Award from the Houston Independent School District; where I taught for 2yrs.
I am excited and honored to be a part of LOMS family for the second year. I believe in the "Profile of A Graduate." My strong foundation is the result of great teachers in my life.
I believe every child is uniquely talented and one size does not fit all. I believe learning is continuous, reciprocal, and it is not confined to the four walls of a building. So come on in and let’s make memorable moments.
I enjoy travelling, photography and spending time with family and friends.
