Ms. Bianca Rabelo

Pronouns: she/hers/her

My name is Ms. Rabelo and I am one of the STELLAR 6th Science teachers at Lake Olympia! Additionally, I serve as Science Team Lead for 6th grade. The 2020-2021 school year will be my second year at LOMS and I am so excited to welcome you to our school. I am a graduate from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, where I studied Sociology and Hispanic Community Enagagement, with an emphasis in Latinx Immigration and Racial and Ethnic Relations. I am a Teach For America corps member and I was nominated as the New Teacher of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year. When I find myself with free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and creating.

What to expect: I consistently strive to provide rigorous and engaging lessons that broaden critical thinking skills that can be applied in science and beyond. Be prepared to apply knowledge from other classes (especially ELA and Math) in this course.
