Welcome to my Early Childhood Special Education “ECSE” class! I am so excited to have your child in my class this school year. His or her time here will be well-spent. We will be learning many things in our classroom that they will be able to use here and at home as well. Together, as a team, we will make this a great school year!
I would like to tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Houston. I attended schools within Fort Bend ISD and am a proud FBISD graduate! I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education from the University of Houston. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree, focusing on Special Education with a concentration of children on the Autism spectrum. I am certified to teach ESL (English as a Second Language) students as well as Special Education students. I knew early on in life that I wanted to be a teacher and feel as though teaching is something that I was called to do.
Barrington Place Elementary is a great place to be! We believe that children are the treasures of the future. I truly believe that I am preparing students for tomorrow while caring for them today.
