"Who knows what one person can be if given every opportunity to learn, to grow, to make mistakes and start over. A teacher can be the beginning of this process." This is why this profession is so important to me. It affords me the opportunity to shape the minds of those who will one day change the world. For over a decade plus, I have worked with some of the greatest minds in education starting on this journey in Alief ISD. I have served as an elementary teacher; instructing various grades ranging from first to fourth. I have also served as a Language Arts Specialist. Currently I am the Reading Specialist here at Rosa Parks where I have been for the past six years.  Fort Bend is home to me where I have resided for the past fourteen years with my husband and two children.
