Welcome to 6th Grade English Language Arts! My name is Stephanie Stephens. This is my first year at Dulles, but I have been in education for 16 years. I have worked in neighboring districts and have taught almost every grade between pre-K to 8th grade. I love teaching middle school because of the spontaneity, curiosity and open-mindedness of middle school scholars. 

I earned a degree in Sociology and Spanish from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix and will graduate with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2022 from Sam Houston State University. 

I spend most of my free time with my daughter and my family. I love reading books and I encourage all of my students to fall in love with reading. I am happy to be a part of the DMS Viking family and I look forward to a great year!
