My name is Melanie Smith and I have been educating children for 14 years.  Thorughout my years of teaching, I have taught Kindergarten, Second Grade and Fourth Grade.  Second Grade is a special year of learning to read more fluently, attempting new strategies in math and investgating science through activities and investigations.  It is my mission to create a culture of kindness while fostering a life long learning in each of my students.
