LCE Campus/School Profile

  • Nestled in the Plantation Creek subdivision, Lexington Creek Elementary opened in August of 1994. The name was derived from "Lexington Boulevard” and "Oyster Creek". Dr. Susan Wey was the first principal. In August 1999, Mrs. Jan McDonald became Principal of LCE and, in 2006, Mrs. Lucretia DeFlora became Principal of LCE and served in that capacity for 10 years.  Our current principal, beginning with the 2016-17 school year, is Ms. Christina Hopkins.

Lexington Creek will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2018-19, but doesn’t look its age. Warm and welcoming, its treed campus includes a butterfly garden and playground/park.  Up to date technologies including Wi-Fi, SmartBoards, iPad carts, and two computer labs are in use across the campus. Lexington Creek—working together to achieve excellence!
