Welcome to Lexington Creek Elementary where Excellence Every Day is the Lion’s Way! I am excited to join the LCE family and become a LCE Lion.

I am originally from Bedford, Massachusetts, which is a small suburb of Boston.  I attended Lesley College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in Special Education.  In  1991, I began my career in Houston ISD as a Special Education Teacher. I attended Prairie View A&M University and earned a Master of Education in Special Education and also received a Mid-Management Administration Certification.

With great passion I have also served as a Special Education Department Chair, Assistant Principal and Principal. In 2006, I was honored to open Rosa Parks Elementary here in Fort Bend ISD, as serve as the first principal.

I believe in servant leadership and look forward to continuing a tradition of excellence for Lexington Creek students, staff and community.  Here's to Lion Pride.

It is a privilege to serve the students, faculty, and staff at Lexington Creek Elementary as the Assistant Principal.  I began my teaching career in Fort Bend ISD at Barrington Place Elementary in 1994.  My last year spent in the classroom was at Fort Settlement Middle School in 2012, before coming to Lexington Creek Elementary in 2013.  I have also taught in Colorado and West Virginia.  I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Science in Reading Education from Harding University in Arkansas and my Master of Science in School Administration from the University of Houston.

My husband is a teacher and coach in Pasadena ISD, and we have two children, a daughter in college and a son in high school.  During the summer, I enjoy traveling to visit our families out of state and, year-round, I spend any free time I have reading.
