Welcome Leopards!

My name is Joscelyn Gardner and I'm eager to begin the 2023-2024 school year!

I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Texas State University….Eat Em’ Up Cats! I also have my Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.  I can’t believe I’m starting my 16^th year in Education!  I have taught 7^th and 4^th grade, and served as a Lead Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Teacher. I returned to the classroom four years ago with a more specific lense to help me better serve my students!

I’m married to the most amazing, and supportive man. We have three wonderful children, Bryson (6) and Baleigh (9),  and my bonus daughter, Taylor, who is 20.

I look forward to working with your child to foster a love for all things Reading/Language Arts! I can’t wait to meet my future scholars!
