Howdy Longhorns!
My name is Amber Everett, and I am elated to be serving as the Communication Language and Social Skills (CLASS) teacher for our Special Education Department here at Neill.
I obtained my Master's of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Grand Canyon University and received my Bachelor's of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Psychology at Lamar University. have always had a passion for learning. As a lifelong learner and learning enthusiast, it is my desire to help facilitate that same love and passion to every student I encounter, and build a foundation and healthy relationship of self-motivated and voluntary learning!
I have lived in Fort Bend most of my life. I have a fur baby, named Bentley. He is a 9 year old, adorably handsome, salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who holds the key to my heart.
When I am not in the classroom, you can catch me perusing the mall for the latest in cosmetics, spending time with Bentley, or enjoying a fabulous read!
I am looking forward to working with your student and I am excited of what’s to come this 2020-2021 school year.
